Dominik Polterauer
PhD Student in the Field of Flow Chemistry at RCPE
Biography
Dominik received a Master’s degree in the field of technical chemistry from the Graz University of Technology (AT, 2021), including a research stay at Utrecht University (NL). After that, he moved to the University of Graz for his graduate studies at the Center for Continuous Flow Synthesis and Processing (CCFLOW). Under the scientific supervision of Prof. C. Oliver Kappe, Dominik works on hazardous chemistry with a special focus on multiphase flow processes, particularly in the use of gases for organic synthesis. He also has a strong interest in developing high-energy processes, which can be transferred in a safe manner to large-scale production. Dominik’s PhD project is in close collaboration with Lonza AG.
