Paul is a director of Engineering in MSD, leading the Flow Integrated Technology Realisation Team. The flow team is a cross divisional team including both Research & Manufacturing divisions. The team is responsible for developing, installing and operationalising flow technology across MSD. Chosen flow technology includes flow chemistry, photochemistry, and immobilized biocatalysis. Paul is based at MSD’s Ballydine Small Molecule site in Tipperary, where he has worked for more than 25 years in a variety of technical & operational roles supporting API production and commercialisation. Paul has led new product introductions involving flow reactions, and is currently leading a number of flow capital projects at the site. Paul graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a MEng in Chemical Engineering.
