Biography

M.Sc. Lukas Grahl studied chemical engineering at TU Dortmund University, completing his Bachelor's degree from 2011 to 2016. He continued at the same institution to earn his Master's degree in chemical engineering, finishing in 2018.
From 2018 to 2021, Lukas pursued his PhD while working as a scientific assistant in the Equipment Design Working Group under Prof. Kockmann at TU Dortmund University. His PhD topic was development and characterization of different modular equipment in laboratories for process development e.g. modules for distillation and process analytic technology. Since 2021, he has been employed at Semodia GmbH, where he currently serves as a project and product manager. He is responsible for various research projects aimed at establishing modular systems and Module Type Package (MTP) in various industries and making them successful.
