Biography
Hendrik Held started his career in the position as Project Engineer at Ehrfeld Mikrotechnik in April 2024, supporting the process development Team with focus in the field of hydrogenation and reactor modeling.
He studied chemical Engineering at the University of Applied Science Münster and continued in academia as research scientist first at the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and continued the work on his PhD at the TU Dortmund in the research group of Prof. Hannsjörg Freund. His research topics were the kinetic measurement and modeling of hydrogenation reactions in trickle bed reactors as well as the application of additive manufactured (AM) periodic open cellular structures (POCS) as reactor inserts.
