André Pomraenke studied Electrical Power Engineering at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences, majoring in Electrical Systems, Devices and Networks with a practical specialization in automation technology. After successfully completing his studies, he began working as a process automation specialist at the Fraunhofer Institute for Factory Operation and Automation IFF in Magdeburg. Here, he primarily plans, designs and implements research, development and industrial projects with a focus on PLC-controlled process engineering systems. Since 2016, he has been actively working in various committees (Namur/ProcessNet) on the topic of modular production and on the standardization of the MTP (Module Type Package).
